Welcome to Cebu! You will be picked up and transferred to the hotel, where you can have a chill afternoon, or if you want to do a bit of shopping, Ayala Mall is a short walk away. Then it’s time to meet the group members you’re going to spend the next 10 days with at the welcome dinner and bond over some drinks.
Let’s see what Cebu has to offer. We have a chill morning where everyone can sleep, get breakfast, and recharge from their travels to Cebu. We will start the day off after breakfast around 10 a.m., where we will go on a historical tour of Cebu City. We will visit different fascinating churches and temples, such as the Temple of Leah. Then we will have a couple of hours to relax before going out for dinner and drinks and experiencing the vibrant Cebu nightlife.
We have an early start today as we make the journey from Cebu City to Moalboal. Along the way, we will stop at one of the Philippines largest churches, Simala. Once we arrive in Moalboal, we will check into our accommodation, which is beachfront. Here, we can chill by the pool or on the beach after the long travel journey. In the evening, we will check out the bars and restaurants Moalboal has to offer.
After our night out in Moalboal, we have an easy morning where everyone can get a lay in and have a chill breakfast. In the early afternoon, we will go do Moalboal’s famous sardine run and snorkel with turtles, where we will see many different colourful fish along the way. Once we get back to our hotel, guests have the option to do a discovery dive with the extremely qualified guides working at our hotel.
Today is a day for thrill seekers. As we go canyoneering, we take a short journey from Moalboal and have a short introduction to the safety rules and regulations. Now it’s time for loads of fun. We start with a zip line, and from here we make our way through the canyon, jumping off many different heights to get the adrenaline pumping.
It’s a very early start today as we travel back to Cebu to get our flight to Siargao. After the short 50 minute flight, we take a short van journey to our hotel. Once we have checked in, guests are free to chill by the pool or take a walk into General Luna to check out the shops. In the evening, we will head out to catch Siargao’s famous sunset at one of Siargao’s popular sunset spots.
Siargao is known as the surfing capital of the Philippines, so why not see what all the hype is about? Guests will be partnered with qualified local instructors to teach them how to pop up and catch a wave with a 2-hour surf lesson. After the surf lesson, you can decide if you want to chill or try out some of the other activities the island has to offer, like a muoy tuay class or pottery-making class. Later, we’ll go out to experience Siargao’s famous nightlife.
A popular activity in Siargao, like many other parts of the Philippines, is island hopping. Today we make our way to the pier, where we hop on a boat that takes us to visit the popular islands surrounding Siargao. Throughout the trip, lunch will be provided on Corregidor Island, and there are also many opportunities to snorkel along the way.
After our surf lesson, we are going to put our skills to the test. We take a trip up north, taking in the many beautiful views Siargao has to offer, such as the coconut view, which is famous for the human drone shots. For those still not confident surfers, we will organise local guides. Along the way, we will be stopping at different beach clubs for refreshments, and in the afternoon, we will stop at one for lunch. We then make the journey back to General Luna, where everyone can prepare for dinner.
After a crazy night out, hopefully everyone still has some energy as we checkout Siargao’s thrill-seeking wakeboarding park soaring through the water. Are you brave enough to catch one of the jumps? Once we’re finished with wakeboarding, we grab a quick lunch before winding down with a relaxing yoga class after a fun-filled, crazy week.
One final free morning to say your goodbyes before your transfer van picks you up for the airport.
